Humbul Humanities Hub

The Humbul Humanities Hub is an online service providing access to digital resources for humanities teaching and research. Humbul is part of the JISC-funded Resource Discovery Network which comprises a series of subject-based hubs (or portals). Humbul's core service is an online catalogue of Internet resources, containing records relating to primary and secondary resources, bibliographic databases, teaching and learning materials, projects and organizations. The information collected about any resource is based on the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set. The catalogue is searchable and records may be browsed by subject area and type. Additional services being developed include: online tutorials to teach Internet information skills, cross-searching of other humanities databases, customised views and data reuse. [...]
