H-TEXAS is an interdisciplinary, moderated e-mail discussion list relating to the life and culture of Texas from pre-historic times to the present. The list's purpose is to provide a means for persons interested in all aspects of the Texas heritage to exchange ideas, share interpretations, communicate current research and research interests, locate source documents, seek information on topics of concern, develop an exchange of course outlines and syllabi on the history and culture of Texas, discuss methods of teaching, and relate matters of interest for those concerned with understanding the Texas heritage.
