The Society's aims are to further the study of late fifteenth century history and in particular the life, reign and reputation of Richard III and to carry this out by organising lectures and conferences, publishing a scholarly journal, maintaining a library and information service and by supporting research and publications both directly and through a Trust [...]. The Society also publishes a newsletter for members and arranges through the main committee and through branch committees appropriate social and historical activities.
