The NSA is an independent non-governmental research institute and library located at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The Archive collects and publishes declassified documents acquired through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The mission of the Archive is to obtain and disseminate internal U.S. government documentation. It describes the for-sale publications, but also offers several on-line collections on various foreign policy issues.
