Elore (Elektroloristi) publishes scholarly articles, reports and book reviews concerning research and study in folklore and related fields in cultural study (e.g. anthropology, ethnology, popular culture, life history and gender studies). The views expressed in Elore are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the Editors or the Society. The authors retain full copyright in their texts. The journal is indexed in ARTO online data base. Elore is published by the Finnish Folklore Society (Suomen Kansantietouden Tutkijain Seura). The society was founded in 1937 and it is a member of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (Tieteellisten seurain valtuuskunta). [self-description]
