This site provides access to a selection of declassified secret US records on Chile, mainly covering the years dealing with the overthrow of the Allende government and the Pinochet dictatorship. These selected documents are available in electronic form. They are part of releases of declassified secret U.S. records. The National Security Archive collects and publishes declassified documents acquired through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
