This is an online exhibition to mark the 125th anniversary of one of the most famous events in American history as well as the most formative event in the history of Chicago. The exhibition is divided into two main parts the chapters of which all consist of three sections: thematic galleries with electronic images, a library with relevant text excerpts, and an essay which provides a context for images and texts.
