Forschungsinteressen und Arbeitsgebiete

My research focuses on the intersectional dynamics of digital materiality, racialization and enclosure inhered in communication infrastructures focusing on the specific context of (post) colonial struggle in the Mediterranean Souths. My most recent work examines the material agency of data in negotiating conflicting horizons of death and finitude and how that diffracts lived and embodied commitments across socio-technical registers and spatio-temporal domains. The main geographic focus of my work is the Arab world.
