1996 wurde das forum historiae iuris als erste elektronische Zeitschrift für Rechtsgeschichte in Europa gegründet – heute erscheint das fhi in neuem Design und mit erweiterten Rubriken und Funktionen. Im klassischen Zeitschriftenteil werden weiterhin Aufsätze, Rezensionen und Debatten online und im Open Access publiziert. Das Forum präsentiert Nachrichten, Projekte und Fachzeitschriften der rechtshistorischen Forschung und eröffnet dem Nutzer die Möglichkeit, eigene News einzureichen. Damit erhält das fhi seine nun schon traditionellen Rubriken, vertieft zugleich die Vernetzung in der aktuellen Forschung, spiegelt die Diversität des Faches und lädt ein zur intensiven Lektüre oder zum informativen Stöbern. In 1996, the forum historiae iuris was founded as the first electronic journal of legal history in Europe – today appears the fhi after its relaunch with a new design and with extended sections and functions. In the classic part of the journal it will continue articles, reviews and debates online and published in open access. The the part forum it presents news, research projects and journals of legal history and offers the user the opportunity to submit their own news. On this way the fhi preserves its traditional rubrics, deepens at the same time networking in the current research, reflects the diversity of the subject and invites for intensive reading or informative browsing.
