Help for the My Clio services

Registration process order

  1. After filling up the register form you get an email to the provided email-adresse with your login.

  2. You invoke the login by clicking the link in this email. The system guides you thru the forms in the following order: USER ACCOUNT -> SUBSCRIPTIONS -> HSOZKULT Contact Information -> RESEARCHER DATABASE (depending on the options you choose).
  3. If you not logged in automatically by the link in the email, you can login manually by entering login information yourself. After first login you have to change your password in section USER ACCOUNT. After changing password you will guided thru the forms by the system.

IMPORTANT! If you login for the first time, you must change your password in the section USER ACCOUNT! After changing password you can continue choosing options for H-Soz-u-Kult or other services.

  • If the following error occurs:

    [InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.] Rainbow.DesktopModules.Signin.Signin_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e),

    please go back to the home page of Clio-online and try to logon. (This error is caused by an obsoletely software module. Any response or information about pages where this error occurs would be appreciated by the )

  • ERRORS IN SCHOLAR-Directory: All data in this directory are independent from other My-Clio Services. Therefore it's necessary to enter all personal and contact seperately. WITHOUT THESE DATA you cannot finish your registration or you got errors!

  • Your session is closed after browser-inactivity of 60 minutes and more.

  • If redirection in forms of registration-procedure doesn't work, check all mandatory fields.
