My Clio: Personalize services of Clio-online

Clio-online offers personalization of some services by „My Clio“.  My Clio is the place to choose from the various email subscriptions and other services that you wish to receive from Clio-online. At the moment, these consist of: managing your user account, receive emails from internet forums such as H-Soz-u-Kult, register for the Directory of Scholars and subscribe the Clio-online newsletter.

Go to the login-box left on the home page to log on or to register as a new user.

Options

USER ACCOUNT: Change your registration data with Clio-online. This option provides basic features to manage your account and to change your basic registration information with Clio-online, such as your email address. This option also changes the address at which you receive emails from the various internet forums you subscribe to.   SUBSCRIPTIONS: Options for receiving emails. Your registration with Clio-online enables you to receive mails from various internet forums -- at the moment H-Soz-u-Kult, Zeitgeschichte-online, and geschichte.transnational. These are scholarly forums run by projects and institutions whose content is screened and selected by the forum moderators.   DIRECTORY OF SCHOLARS: Enter information to be made public. This Clio-online Directory of Scholars offers historians the opportunity to make your current research and teaching interests, projects, your academic cv, and a selection of publications available to a broader public. The goal of this directory is to make the discipline more transparent to itself while facilitating the growth of thematic networks.

Existing  Subscription of H-Soz-u-Kult can be converted to the new system, all settings will be included and migrated. 

Register

1. First you create an user account by the link "Register" on the left side panel or directly on this URL <http://www.clio-online.de/register>. Subscribers of H-Soz-u-Kult can check their current subscription on this page. If you have an active subscription you will get a confirmation by the system that your old subscription can be converted to a My Clio account. If you're a new user, a new account will be created. In case of any errors please contact the Clio-online Webteam.
   
   
2. After successfull registration procedure you will get an email with your profile information and password. Please read the instructions in this email to finish the registration procedure.
   
   
3. With this registration you can publish your scientific c.v. in the new Clio-online Scholar Directory if you have specified your academic degree. You can change your profile everytime and you can decide to publish these informations or not.
